This is an important piece of American history that plays a small part in the book Old Scores. It actually understates the number of people killed and missing because of the perfidity of the American Congress after Nixon left office. It does not attempt to quantify those lost in the "Killing Fields" of Cambodia. What Congress did spat upon the graves of the 58,000 American who lost their lives to win freedom for the Vietnamese people. It remains America's darkest hour. - Pete Grimm
